Introducing Zac Bromley ...

Today was a very special day because we finally got to meet little Zac.  He is a gorgeous wee boy and so relaxed considering he only arrived from KL yesterday and met his great-aunty Belinda and two darling cousins today!  Hopefully it won't be too long until he visits again.

A Picnic at Mission Bay

Yesterday was another beautiful day and it just seemed fitting to finish it off with a fish and chips picnic at Mission Bay.  Quickly followed by ice creams all round of course!

Harry the Hairdresser?

Harry has been desperately needing a haircut and we had an appointment booked with his favourite hairdresser for Tuesday next.  Unfortunately, yesterday Harry got sick of waiting and did the job himself!

Thank goodness the REAL hairdresser was able to squeeze in an appointment this afternoon!

Choir Tour

Last week Harry went on a four day choir tour in and around Te Kuiti with the Auckland Boys' Choir. They did a few performances including Te Kuiti Primary School - Karl's old school.  There was quite a bit of fun to be had with glow work caves and farm visits etc.

Can you spot Harry in the photos below?

Father's Day 2013

The day started off with home made brunch then presents followed by a family game of Mario Kart!  Off shortly for a walk around Devonport, drive-by 'The Block' houses and yummy gelato!  The end of the day to be marked by Karl's world famous pork spare ribs (which he has to cook even though it's Father's Day).  Mmmmmmmm.

St Kent's Social

Georgia went to the St Kentigern's social a few weeks ago.  She danced so much the next day her legs muscles were aching!!!

Georgia & Olivia

Remember that kid's party game where you have a lolly on top of a mountain of icing sugar?  Everyone takes a turn to cut a slice out of the mountain and the person who causes it to collapse has to eat the lolly without hands?  Well apparently even big kids like to play this game - even when there's no party!!!

Harry's 13th birthday

For his 13th birthday Harry went to Rainbow's End with a few friends - just for a change.  Actually, he has gone to Rainbow's End for at least the last four birthdays!  This time he took Nick, Leon, Patrick and Lachlan.  The weather was cold and there was occasional rain but fun was had by all.

On his actual birthday we had Gabbie staying with us and Karl took the day off work.  Harry finally got his very own iPhone - although it was previously mine, then passed onto Georgia and now finally Harry has it. Definitely got our money's worth for that one!  He also got his scooter pimped out and some gift cards and vouchers from friends and family.  He was very happy indeed with this haul.

Harry got to choose where we went for lunch and he chose Tasca, a Spanish tapas bar in Newmarket.  Next we all went to see Despicable Me 2 followed by a visit to Harry's favourite ice cream shop - Kiwiyo.  For dinner Karl cooked steak, Harry's favourite meal and we ate it watching the DVD 'Wreck-it Ralph'.  The perfect day for Harry!

Thanks to everyone for all the cards, gifts and birthday wishes.  xoxo

Georgia's first dye job!

Camping @ Easter

We went camping at Papamoa Beach for Easter.  We were pretty lucky with the weather and Harry made a few friends at the camping ground.  Georgia wasn't so impressed about the lack of wi-fi - say no more!

Here are a few photos - belatedly!

A new masterpiece?

NZ illustrator Ross Kinnaird visited our school last week and drew this picture of me much to the delight of all the kids watching!  Watch out Mona Lisa!

Ronnie's Photo Tribute

Had a few requests for a copy of Dad's photo tribute from last week.  Hopefully this is okay ...
